Student Education Support
The San Antonio Chapter of PRSA has been an active sponsor of the PRSSA chapter at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) for over 10 years. During that time, numerous public relations professionals within the chapter have provided students with ongoing guidance and support as they prepare for a career in the public relations field. And, our PRSA chapter has sponsored many activities and educational events geared especially for students, including individual mentoring, an annual PRSA chapter luncheon for students, and a Shadow Day event where students can spend a day with a professional.
In 2008, PRSA San Antonio also happily began a sponsorship of the PRSSA chapter at the University of Texas Pan American.
The PRSA provides two liaison officers to assist the PRSSA chapter officers with governance, Code of Ethics, and other educational assistance.
